What to expect
In Switzerland, a Pflegefachperson HF typically earns between CHF 70,000 and CHF 95,000 per year — meaningfully higher than the EUR 25,000–40,000 common in Germany and many source markets. Hospitals and clinics access the platform on a subscription basis — for nurses, pflegeship is free.
Three steps
- Create your profile. Background, language level, preferred region, employment type.
- Upload your
Diplom. YourDiplom(PDF or photo) is read by our AI. We propose a Swiss equivalence —Pflegefachperson HF,Pflegefachperson FH,FaGe, orAGS. You confirm or correct. - Get your dossier. A German-language pre-
Anerkennungdossier (PDF) drops out the other side. Hand it to hospitals or submit it to theSRK.
What you should bring
- A completed nursing qualification from your home country (
Diplomor equivalent). - German at B2 — the requirement for the
SRKAnerkennungand for working in Swiss hospitals. Hospitals frequently ask for certified proof. - EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit.
The Swiss federal portal anerkennung.swiss confirms the SRK as the authority for nursing diplomas. Their free PreCheck returns a verdict in about four weeks; the full Anerkennung then costs CHF 550–1,000 (plus CHF 130 for the registry entry) and takes up to four months. We sit upstream of that: our dossier helps you reach PreCheck prepared and gives hospitals something concrete in the meantime. Only the SRK can finalize the Anerkennung.
